I am bright

Full of star dust and dancing light

Inside me there is something stirring

A yearning for transition and learning

Learning more about my inner workings

What fuels my fire and eases my worries

The path I’m on, and yours it is like no other

We are all unique, individual sisters and brothers

Driven by love but yet drowning in fear

How do we break this cycle? Where do we go from here?

I feel as though the girl I once knew is still somewhere deep within

I nourish her with love and gratitude hoping she’ll resurface again

My inner child, the faint sound of laughter and play

I want to remind her that she is still okay

In hopes that she is able to come out as her truest self and share her gifts with the world one day.
